Default old Plastic windows

Im deep into my cub rebuild. I just need your helpThey don't make the windows for my HAN1500 Kit anymore. The old side windows are covered with paint glue and dirt from years of wear and a few small cracks. My windshield is fine. I could clean the existing windows but I will need some type of solvent that wont melt the clear plastic (lacquer thinner ? ). An alternative would be to replace them with a sheet of clear plastic run along the inside of the fuselage (simple and will look fine)Im thinking the latter might be what im stuck with. Does anyone know where I might get some clear plastic sheets or a cleaner that wont dissolve the plastic?

Your local hobby shop and arts and crafts store should have some clear plastic. The Home Depot type of places typically have thicker plastic, but that will work too. Heck, I've even used clear Monokote before!

I've used the plastic that is used for some packaging boxes like the view window in toy and electronics packages. Some is too thin but I've found some that is just the right thickness.

Most any hobby shop stocks the plastic sheets.
