Default Sig Morrisey Bravo Kit Co$t, Anybody Know?

Does anyone recall what the Sig Morrisey Bravo kit sold for? I've got a NIB kit that was purchased in the late 90's but can't remember what the cost was for sure. I think it was over $250. Am I close or should I reserve my room at Withering Heights?

Call or email Sig. They might have the numbers somewhere. They've been very helpful when I've called them in the past.

I think I remember paying $295.95 for one back about 12 years ago. That was at Danielle/s R/C specialists back before Larry sold it. I just last month paid over $300.00 for a PICA 1/5 scale WACO YMF on ebay. Those nice old kits (and the Morrissey Bravo is very nice) will bring a bloody fortune from those of us who just have to get our hands on them. (psst whisper...whisper...how much do you want for it)?

If anyone is interested, I have a Sig Morrissey Bravo NIB, opened for inspection but never started. Box is a bit frayed on the corners but all the wood is clean & bright. I would want $250 + shipping, which is what I paid for it a couple years ago (after it was out of production). PM me or email me at [email protected]. I would think a 160FX would power it nicely, or a Moki or maybe one of the new lightweight gassers.

[8D]Majortom, I don't know anything about the power of the 160FX, but I
built the Sig Bravo back in the mid 80's and installed an OS Gemini 2.70
for power which flew it very well. The 2.70 is no longer made by OS, but
the Gemini 3.0 would be a great engine for this plane, although it is a
bit pricey.l

I would have to agree that a big twin glow engine would be great for those who are willing to spend for one, but for that kind of money I think I'd prefer gas. A twin gasser would be also not cheap, but one of the new singles would do fine. 160FX would approximate scale power, nothing too ambitious, inexpensive, reliable, good for sport flying. If you wanted to do a serious scale project, then a twin would be the way to go.

I just looked in a 1991 Buyers Guide that I still have and the price in it is $294.95.

Thanks to you all for walking down memory lane.......I think I'll just say it cost $295.
Well, that settles that................
