Herr P-51 kit I'm putting together, Pictures
Here are some pics of the Herr P-51 (my first kit!!!).
Known mistakes as building it:
1) After gluing both wing halves I realized the dyhedral angle was wrong. As suggested in this forum, I sawed then made new root ribs, corrected spacers until right angle was obtained and reglued.
2) I conformed the wing tip blocks BEFORE installing ailerons, so when I was to install them something was missing...I had to glue 2 small balsa pieces to the wing tips.
3) Not sure about this, but I feel that the gap between ailerons and wings is too open. Should I fix it? I guess I'll blame the hinges I used!

Well, thanks to all in this forum who helped with my questions. Any comments on what you see in the pics are very welcome. I haven't finished this first kit, and I'm already thinking about my next one.
