mountain model eva sport
Does anyone have any tips on building a mountain model eva sport? This is my first attempt at building a
balsa plane after having 3 plastic/foam trainers and any help, would be appreciated!

I haven't built the EVA, but as with all building, especially if you're new:
1.- Read the instructions BEFORE you do ANYTHING!
2.- Read them again.
3.- DRY FIT everything. Make sure that you aren't making two left wings or two right wings ... you wouldn't be the first!
4.- Dry fit everything again before you glue it. If you have to force anything, make sure you have the right parts going in the right places.
5.- Set up and glue on a good flat surface. Straight airplanes fly better.
6.- Once you have the frame built, plan servo locations and control linkages with care. Test fit before you commit. Make sure final assembly is square.
7.- Be sure that all parts that have to be in before covering are where they need to be ... ask how we learn that!
8.- Cover it with care. Use the recomended covering material - you don't want something where the force of shrinkage will warp the frame.
9.- Set up the controls as per intructions. Make sure everything lines up.
10. - Get your motor and electrics in and get ready to go fly!
Hope this helps!
