Fuel tank install I can't keep building till you help?
Hi all,
Im currently installing a sullivan slanted front tank into a Goldberg Eagle II trainer. The plans say I should install the tank so that its 3/8-1/2" above the fuel intake valve. The reason I purchased the sullivan tank is because thats what is showing on the blue print. The blue print shows it with the top of the tank as high as it can be against the top hood.
The question im having is will the tank installed like in the blue print (against the top as high as it can go) will not having the tank above the fuel intake effect the preformance of the engine. It dosnt seem like I can place the tank any higher.
Thanks any help is appreciated, JOEYPM

The Eagle does have a low tank position. If you're within 1/2" or so below the spraybar, it should be ok. Just don't lean the engine too much.
