if my memory serves me well way back greatplanes made a twin engine shrike commander.the real one was made by northrup rockwell. sure wish they made a arf .I saw the real one when art schroder(sp) flew it at airshows..

I have two of them, in the boxes. Joe Bridi Commander. And yes, Great Planes did sell them for a period as well. 78 inches, I think. Most people, nowadays are building them with new wing cores that have a broader tip and wash out.
I see them on Ebay from time to time. They generally fetch about 300 to 350 dollars.
The original wing cores had poor flight characteristics..........lots of stalls on final and over she went.........boom. That quick. One of the RCU members built one using electric motors...........looks nice. I'll probably use 46's. Hmmm.................I might farm this project out while I finish a couple of others.
