Todays testflight concludes this project.
The plane flies great, only problem is some downward coupling in knife edge and it's a bit snappy into the inverted flatspin...Otherwise, it's all good.

could someone tell me what the CG is for a 84" quaker? is it on the spar or #.

I would go 25% of the wing back from the leading edge that is a great starting point with just about any air craft it has always worked for me anyway.

Old thread I know....nevertheless.....your Quaker looks fantastic! Ordered a kit From PennValley Hobby & should be starting on one myself in a day or two. I was hoping to still be able to ask how the little 52 FSW Engine worked for power. I have built a number of these old 30-40's designs & love each one. They can be seen on R.C. Universe under Neal Smith-mortyspals.....Gallery.
