Default Clancy Aviation Stagger Bee

I am looking for a set of instructions for a Stagger Bee. I bought one at a swap meet but the instructions are missing. It has the wingerons. Does anyone have experience with this plane?

Are you still looking for the plans? I have one that I built when they first came out, and I always keep the plans. I built mine with the wingerons, and am now thinking about converting it to electric.

Thanks but a gentleman sent me a set of plans. It sounds like yours is still flying. Most of the responses that I received were not very encouraging. Of the responses that I received most had been destroyed on their first or second flight. I have not worked on it recently as I wasn't very encouraged by the responses. I believe I will finish it at some point after I get a few other projects off the workbench. How does yours fly and can you give me any information on what power plant you used and any modification you made to the plans? Thanks for the response.

I have a Stagger Bee and I will look for the booklet for you. The CG is a bit further forward then the plans say and the top wing needs more rubber bands then recomended.

drumy-

Not sure if this site will help, but a new friend online stated "kits" or laser cut parts amounting to kit can be obtained from lazer-works.com
ask for Eddie. I got the idea he/they might be able to steer people towards plans or instructions for Clancy kits as well. ????
I haven't tried contacting him yet- good luck!

I just bought a Speedy Bee and Lazy Bee. time to build.

Was Eddie able to get you the information you needed? If not let me know and I will see if I still have a set.

It's really to bad that many of us still want to build Andy's planes. I too am looking for the plans and instruction booklet for the Stagger Bee. Lazer works can cut the parts for the Stagger Bee and the 48" version of the Lazy Bee ( http://lazer-works.com/misc.html ) if anyone needs a short kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shawn

Well I think most of us have the plans for the Stagger Bee now, but I know Istill need the manual (in PDF preferably). Has anyone been able to get them? Also looking for the Speedy Manual if anyone has it.
If anyone needs the plans for any of the Bees or the manual To Build a Bee, Ican post them. All are in PDF, as well as the Foam Blue Bee and Blu-Speedy Bee.

Thanks

Where did you guys get the plans? I had a Lazy Bee years ago. Bought the kit at the AMA Museum in Muncie. I really enjoyed the build. I would like to build the Stagger Bee but I think I would blow up the plans a bit for a .60 size engine. In my oppinion, the Stagger Bee was the best looking of all the Bee's.

If anyone can lead me to the right place to get the plans, I would really appreciate it.

I would really like to get a copy of the Speedy Bee manual. I have the plans all printed and ready to go but the manual would greatly assist in the construction.

Thanks, Wiggy

Take a look at these. Might save you some time. I have not printed them out, but they should work. Kinko's can print them out.

thanks but those are the one's i  have they have to be scaled up to be the proper size while me being a professional draftsman its not a big problem to redo the whole thing in autocad then print full size as a pdf.  this saves in having to have the drawing scaled at the time of printing but for me it's just practice on autocad not real work.  i have the whole plane drawn in i just need to add the detailing.  plus one of the things i can do is to make up some cut sheets for all of the pieces in the planes.  this would allow me to send the whole tedious cutting each piece out to a lazer cutter shop to have all the parts laser cut rather than me inexact with a knife.  thanks a lot though i am trying to get the whole bee family with all of the instructions if that is possible.  mostly because i am a clancy fanatic and just love driving the speed and stunt guys at my club nuts with a nice fun slow bee

Lazer Works in Texas sells a short kit for about $52.00. Ed does great work. From what I understand, the Speedee Bee is the Clancy kit. You could check with him. Once you get your plans done, I would not mind a set.
