Senior Telemaster
I just got the plans for a senior TM.
My question is, has anyone got an inventory of the balsa/ply required to build this plane. I will strip my own 1/4 x 1/4 and 1/4 x 3/8 stick from sheet, so I don't need the number of these sticks. I know I can just study the plans and work it out, but if someone else has already done this it will save me some time. TIA

Here's my wing almost ready to sand, as you see I opted for two aileron servos, standard practice for me. To me, mounting two servos on their sides is much easier than the hassel of doing the torque rods. I'm also going to convert it to a bolt on wing. I did not build the wing in two parts and then join them, I built one half with all three dihedral braces in place, then blocked the end up 6" and kept right on building.

I am also going for servos mounted in the wing, but will have flaps and ailerons on each wing. I know it really dosen't need flaps, but having a plane flying slower than I can walk and with an 8' WS has got to earn 'man points'. Bolt down wings was always a 'must have' for this build as well.
My building area won't allow for me to build the wing as one, unless I throw everything else out my shed cum plane storage area.

Merlin, I figured out a way to put my Saito .90 TS in the Telemaster, I made the right side cowl cheek removeable. I also added a support for the pipes so they would not just swing in the breeze.

RE: Senior Telemaster
building my ST from plans. Cutting all my own sticks. I don't care for the looks of the wing tips and am thinking about just leaving them flat or coming up with a different shape. Any ideas are welcome. I have the fuse framed up and the wing frame should be completed today ready for sanding and shaping. Plan on bomb bay doors and tow hook for gliders as well as adding lights for night flying.
Would like to start a string on my build and post some pics but havn't figured out how to do that on here. Going to power my bird with a Magnum 120 FS so should do all I am asking it too.
No idea on the graphics yet.
