Is this plane still safe
I have the chance to buy back a Morris Hobbies Balsa Nova I built for someone eight years ago. I framed it up and it has been sitting since then. It was never covered and now all of the control surfaces and the plans are missing. Would this plane still be safe to cover and fly after sitting for all this time? It also comes with a never used eight year old MVVS 40 and tuned pipe which is probably worth the price. Thanks for any help...Keith

RE: Is this plane still safe
Well, as you originally built it, you have a better than average knowledge of the construction. Hit the stress joints with fresh CA and go fly!
I've flown 25-30 year old hanger queens off and on for years. The usual issue is fatigued wood due to oil soaking. yours hasn't this issue.
I have an MVVS 40 and pipe. LOVE this engine!
