RE: Twisted Tail of a TF Contender Build
To much time on my hands and the Wife wanted the planes out of the bed room so for 27.00 and some clean up work I made a wall rack ..came out not to bad. Very limited building space so I kinda had to do it anyway.

I know the feeling... I've got a new SSE in a RedBull theme that I just finished... and we just had a nasty ice storm last night. [:'(]

RE: Twisted Tail of a TF Contender Build
With 1 or 2 weekends away from the maiden flight I was able to get the Contender fired up in my back yard ...tweaked out the GMS and checked for tank leaks (none) ...found very little airframe vibration using the Du-bro motor mount.... after the 10 minute engine run at various RPM's removed the wing and re-checked ever nut bolt from fin to nose cone ...all is fine.
Went over the lateral for aft balance .. rechecked all control throws and re weighted. I am all set to go other then range check at the field
have I missed anything?
It is almost time gentlemen
