Default covering around cabanes on bipe - any tricks?

CGM Ultimate. Sheet aluminum cabanes. Not a lot of room to work.

Most bipes I have seen have the top deck covered with a separate piece. I.E., the sides are covered first as you normally would, except that you only cover a very short distance above the cabanes through the space between them. Then, follow this up with a separate piece that runs over the top of the front deck. A popular thing to do is change colors to create a psuedo anti-glare panel.

Why not paint them with spraypaint?

Nothing like a good can of "shake 'n shoot"

Put the spraypaint in a bucket of hot water from the kitchen sink. Makes the paint thin and increases the pressure in the can. The paint comes out real nice with no splattering or clumps.

Shake the sh*t out of it before use!!

JWN, you described exactly, except for the black what I was planning on. It seems like the only option. I have actually done this before (same plane 12 years ago) and I can't remember how I did it. Probably used the three piece technique.
