Default 4*60 wing question

on my 4*60 plans, the left wing panel is shown with a 1/4' dowel sticking out of the leading edge near the right edge. I assume the dowel was used help secure the wing to the fuse, but I did not see mention of the dowel in the instructions or listed in the parts list. Did Sig change the instructions and not the plans or am I missing a step?

You have to have the fusealage built to a point so that you can drill the holes in the wing leading edge, using the former in the fuselage and then the dowels get installed. Hope this helps, Dave

Go to page 18 step 38 a,b,c,d and 39. This is when you put the dowels in. On page 3 under Hardwood "2 1/4 x 1-3/4 Wing Dowels".

I need to get my eyes checked...I wasn't that far into the fuse build when I noticed the dowels on the plans. Instruction...we don't need no stinkin' instructions!
