Default CG ON DARE FOKKER D-7

FINALLY THIS PLANE IS NEARING ITS MAIDEN FLIGHT. PLANS CALLED FOR 19 0z COMPLETION WEIGHT. THE FOKKER WEIGHS IN AT 26 oz. WITH THE LIPO AND ESC AS FORWARD AS I CAN I STILL NEED 4.5 oz ADDED TO THE NOSE. WOW!! SEEMS LIKE TOO MUCH! [X(]. "CG" AS PER PLANS IS 2 3/4 in.> LEADING EDGE.
DOES THE TOP AND BOTTOM WING HAVE TO BE PERFECTLY HORIZONTAL? BECAUSE TRYING TO DETERMINE NOSE/TAIL HEAVY IS TRICKY[:@] BUT IF I PUT A LEVEL ON UNDERSIDE OF TOP WING, LEVEL IS THE CORRECT "CG" RIGHT? HELP!

Normally, when a plane is balanced the fuselage and the wings are in what would be 'level' flight. So have your plane balanced so that it looks like it is in normal level flight. If it requires nose weight to achieve that attitude, then that's what ya gotta use.
