Default Mounting 2 aileron servos???

Hello to all...I have scoured the build threads on the Sig Mid Star 40 and have found nothing giving any detail on mounting dual aileron servos in the wing. Does anyone have any photos of wing mounted servos at mid aileron for a Mid Star? Is there room to mount them on there side inside the wing(looks cleaner)? Any opinions on the best mounting methods would be very much appreciated.

ya there is plenty of room ,I made rails and just mounted them flush with the wing works great , but if you want to mount them on there side that would be easy to just space the rails a little wider and then make a hatch and mount the servo to that

There are A number of ways to make up servo mounts, you just have to look at some of the ways othere guys do it on RCU then create your own system for each plane you build. On this wing I used epoxy and installed side rails on the two wing ribs then made up some flat ply to epoxy my servo mounts to then I use four screws to install the mounting plate, this way I can remove them when needed. I also make up round paper tubes that run through the ribs for the servo wires. You can see I have it ready to make the hatch covers so just the arms stick out, they are held on with four small screws. Each plane requires something A little different but this is one of the basic ways to do it.

An alternative is to mount two servos where one would normally go. This keeps them inside the fuselage and you can use the torque wires as supplied with the kit. Spares you from having to design and make wing servo mounts and having to find a way to fish long servo leads out to them. On some planes this is an easy solution.
