Stiffen up the bottom stringers with some spruce and get Stan's Fiberglass cowl and wheel pants - well worth it.

Nice frame-up - you're gonna love this plane. What engine are u planing to use? I had both saito and OS 91 4-stroke in mine at several times and they worked well.

Engine was 225 deg from vertical to get exhaust out the bottom of the cowl and had no fuel suply problems. As mentioned above replace bottom fuse stingers w/ basswood and firewall w/ real aircraft ply to ensure greater longevity. Good luck.

Hallstro,

Thanks. I always enjoyed drawing (especially, WWII bombers, fighters and WWI Biplanes, one wall in the shop is covered with tons of colorful, scale drawings - I just recently designed a logo for my local club) and when my father asked me to do this, I just jumped right in, used my creativity, and came up with a unique starburst. Thanks again.

guapoman2000: This is a glow-powered plane, not an electric conversion like you prefer. Although I understand that you have a similar model, and an electric has the advantages of better convenience and less clean up, I would like to ask: What interest do you have in a plane with a glow engine? Are you considering the possibility of converting back to glow?
