Default Covering Question

When covering the wing and the rear fins do you use your iron to just tack covering down and then do rest with heat gun or do you use the iron to do most of the covering and the gun on corners only, any advise would be great.

Just follow the instruction sheet that comes with each and every roll of any brand of covering sold.
Couldn't be easier....

Default Covering Question

I tack down all edges first. On the tail feathers, I may just iron over the whole thing depending on the size, but for the wing, I just iron down the edges and then heat gun the rest.

Default Covering Question

I always cover flat surfaces by starting in the middle and working my way out so I don't trap bubbles.

MinnFlyer - Do you have a website?

Default Covering Question

I have a personal site that I use for transferring files, etc., but no, I don't have anything fancy that I created. My company is all about websites, so you'd think I would.

I use RCU for my creative outlet.

Default Covering Question

I write a "How To" column for RCU magazine. It's mostly basic stuff. There have been 3 so far. "Balancing" Is currently at the top of the home page, the rest are in the archives, they are: Covering, and CA Hinges.
