Default slow poke great planes 40

I,m concerned about the lack of sheeting and tape on the top of the wing out board panels where they attach to the wing center section. Should I modify at the expense of added weight and work, or are they strong enough built as the kit specifies? Are there any good or horror stories to share.

I had the same fears when I built my GP Slow Poke. But trust me, once you have the covering on the wing it's plenty strong. Build it by the plans and you'll be fine.

Here's a pic of my Slow Poke. It's got over 500 flights on it now and still going strong!!!!
