Any 4 engine kits out there?
Hi. I flew a 2 engine TwinStar plane over the weekend. It sounded great with two OS .25 LA engines, but I bet 4 engines would sound even better.
Anyone know of any 4 engine kits? Preferably using .25-40 sized engines.

Here's a thread on a couple of models. They look very cool.

Thank mclina.
That's B 17 looks exactly like what I'm looking for. And it takes .25 sized engines.
The problem is, I googled Royal B17 kit and a couple of variations, but can't find a place to purchase one. Any ideas on how to track one down?

Unfortunately, Marutaka closed their doors and no longer offer the B-17, or any of their other kits. They show up occasionally on Ebay, but ususally draw big bucks.

I went into the Twin forum (didn't know there was a Twin forum at RCU) and was given this link:

Tons of good kits here.

Hi, I built and flew the Royal B-17 with 4 - OS .25 FP's for power in the 90's. Plenty of power and the sound of those four engines, in sync, is just awesome. I also enlarged some RCM B-24 plans to 94" WS and used 4 - OS .25 FP engines with similar results as the B-17. There is also a RCM 4 engine conversion set pf plans for the single engine Goldberg Sr. Falcon. I believe the RC Modeler plans are still available. Royal/Marutaka B-17 kits are available once in a while on the bidding sites, but ARE VERY expensive. nanavion46
