Sig 4* 120 Kit, Engine fit W/ Cowl? Hardware?
Hi All,
(I posted the same questions on the Engines forum, but I though I might get more responses here.)
************************************************** ********************************************
Hi All,
I just ordered the BCMA 26cc motor.(back ordered).
I had a few questions.
Anybody out there had this engine w/ the Cap 21 cowl? (that seems to be the one to get).
Fiberglass Specialties is the only place I found one so far. Anyone know a better deal than $35.00? Also would like to buy wheel pants. Also $35.00. That's getting a tad pricey for me.
2. Has anyone tried to fit the BCMA 40 cc motor in the 4*? Is that too much engine?
3. Will I have to cut the cowl ( besides the muffler), and how much for either engine?
4. What's the best method for finishing the cowl and wheel pants to match the color ?
5. I'm also looking for a good high torque flight pack to work for this plane as well. Anybody got a good link?
I'm planning on buying heavier duty (dubro) hinges, and other hardware to beef up my controls. I'm not sure what to buy for that if anyone feels that generous w/ their time.
I'm going to start building the kit soon, very excited!
Thanks much,
Dan

4*40, 60, or 120?
I don't know the answers to any of the questions, but knowing which kit should help get you better info.
