Hanger 9 100" Cub Arf Windshield
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have the Hanger 9 100" Cub ARF. This is the older one that was discontinued NOT the new 1/4 Scale ARF that just came out. I am very happy with it, but my windshield was damaged. Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement? Also, if you have a big Cub, tell me the width and length of your windshield PLEASE!!!! I'm wondering if I could use the same as a SIG, or Balsa USA, ect.

If you can salvage any of the old windshield, you can use it as a pattern to make a new one. Most good LHS's have clear plastic stock for this purpose.
The original 'shield may have been formed to fit around the leading edge of the wing, but a Cub windshield can be cut flat and still fit properly. If the original is gone, use something like shirt cardboard and make a template. Cut it slightly oversize, and cut the replacement oversize as well, and fine tune it to fit by trimming a little at a time. Use #0 or #00 screws to fasten it, and then use automotive pinstripe tape (1/4" width works well) to finish the edge, paint to match.
