Thanks Pete!

Yes it s a cool plane, and it really flies without any bad habits.
I ve always liked the cover photo of that Pica Duellist carton box, and my brother managed quite well to catch mine in similar way during those flights.

Looking for the build manual.
Is it possible to email them to me?
Thanks.

It's been so long I forgot about this thread. Started mine in Feb 16, and just finished it last week. Just used the plans as is and "corrected" problems as I went along. (Like sighting down the wing panels to spot the "high" ribs and then sanding them down.) Twin Power 52s on 4S 5000 LiPos in series (8s). Ecalc says it'll be a rocket, and ground testing backs it up. (Around 90mph, nearly 2:1 thrust to weight ratio) Kinda heavy, 11.7 pounds. I've included a few pics of the build. My thread is on RC Groups. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...-Duelist-Mk-II

I modified the design for flaps, and the retracts are Hobbico mechanical with two servos. I built the canopy from the plans and "glazed" it with pieces of K&S plastic sheet.
I'm going to practice a lot on my Kaos 60 electric before I do the maiden, and I'll probably only fly it when I have a nice strong wind blowing down the runway, or a paved runway.
