RE: Great Planes T-Craft
I built the kit earlier this spring, as for the quality of the kit, I would say that it is about average. I had to shape the leading edges myself and buil-up the ailerons which was new to me but it all turned out good. I powered it with a thunder tiger gp28 which after I figured out the needle setting (manual was wrong), it runs good, I am using an APC 10x5 prop which gives it alot of snap. Flight characteristics are a little touchy in comparrison to my cub but that is expected with the clipped wing.

RE: Great Planes T-Craft
I built the T-Craft a few years ago and is still one of my favorite planes to fly. I use a Saito 30 up front with good results...takes off at about half throttle and flies real quick if you want it to. Not too bad to take off and pretty easy to land. I found that a little toe in on the main gear wheels makes all the difference in preventing ground loops. After a couple of years, I changed the gear from the music wire to an aluminum gear made for .25 size aiplanes. I forget where I got it from but am real happy with it. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I will try and remember from a few years back. Cheers! Pat
