Eagle 52 Trainer
Hey i just had a friend give me an old plane that his dad built. It has Eagle 52 as a decal and it looks to be a high wing trainer with the wing held on with rubber bands. I'm thinking it's a .25 size, it also has wing-tips that curve in a 90 degree downward for about an inch and a half. Can anyone help me out with any info. about this plane. I have all the tail feathers but as you can see they haven't been attached yet. It had a nose wheel so it's a trike.
thanks Geoff

Hey Flyboy. I had an eagle 52 donated to the local neighborhood kids that we are building together. An OS .46 FX was also donated that we are going to be using for power. I have all of the plans and instructions. What would you like to know about it?

Was just wanting to know the proper engine size of the plane. Seems to me like there isn't very much room for a .46. Other than that if i could get the recommended throws and the CG that would be awesome. Who is the manufacturer?
thanks very much

From Bondobird52
The Mfg of the Eagle 52 ( or .40 size ) is Carl Goldberg
I have a bare bones model that I am converting to a gyro-plane w/ a .40 glow motor.
I can send you a copy of the manual if you wish, just e-mail me your address.
I am at [email protected]
Good Luck.

Flyboy, the plane in the picture does not appear to be Goldberg Eagle, wing tips are wrong as well as fuse shape. I had several and that looks like some kind of arf from a few years back.

RE: Eagle 52 Trainer
that's what threw me off to, was the wingtips and the fact that i don't think you could fit a .40 size mount on the front of it. It was def. a kit as my buddies dad built it like 15-20 years ago covered it and sat it in a corner. oh well i'll keep snooping around
thanks
