I would just like to take this time to share a few comments about my builder, Jeff Cottrell (CAPtain232). I had him build me a Carden 35% EDGE. I was getting pictures almost everyday of the progress. I was extremely happy with the building job, and the constant updates on progress. If you ever need an AWESOME builder, talk to Jeff!

I was looking through my pictures to see if I had one to show it more clearly, but I don't.
If you look real close at the last one I have posted, you will see that the beveled hinge area is made of 2 pieces of 3/8" thick balsa sheeting. The way that this area is supposed to be done, according to the plans, is to cut the VERT FIN out from the FIN/RUDDER sheeted foam piece and then install the balsa for the hinge area. Once the balsa is installed you then bevel the balsa and install the fin. When it is done according to plans, you end up with a couple of areas that need filled in on both sides of the hinge line. The way I do it is install the fin and THEN install the balsa hinge material and THEN shape the hingeline. This is more difficult, but instead of having the 2 little pieces next to the fin, you can fill those areas in with the hinge material which in turn creates a stonger joint an a cleaner finish.

I tell you what....
ANYONE that wants a copy of all the pics from the 35% EDGE buildup, simply send me a SASE (small manilla, the size of a CD) and a BLANK CD or $1 and I will burn a copy and send it to you......
It would simply take WAY too much of my time to try to email them to everyone that has been asking for them.
Email me for my address.

If you need me to sen you a CD I will.
Just a suggestion. Make all the pics a Zip file and send them all as one attachment. If your getting tons of requests you could do one e-mail once a week to everyone that wants them..
Thoughts?
