I'm old so I remember Nuremberg is in Bavaria and the trials it was famous for after the war. I also love Nuremberg Rostbratwurst, for that matter any kind of wurst!
Strange fact I had a friend who has passed on who claimed to be a distant cousin of Friedrick Christiansen, who won the Pour De Merite in WWI, and was sentenced to 12 years at the Nuremberg Trials.

My son a couple years back sent some Paulaner Oktoberfest beer with the 1 liter mug and the postage was absolutely outrages! I wanted one of those special edition World Cup glasses but couldn't justify the expense. That said I wouldn't want to put you through the all expense and trouble. Thank you all the same it was a very gracious offer!

historians i could find say marks models was sold to Dynaflite in 1987 or 1988 catalog showed the Hellcat to be priced at $149.95 plus
shipping. based on that i am asking $ 100.00 plus shipping & ins. ups will cover the 1ST $100.00 of insurance i am told.
ups demanded the kit be over boxed at additional cost. i will pay for over boxing of kit. buyer pays shipping & any additional insurance over what ups will cover. my price is $100.00 plus shipping & additional insurance required. i had a tenitive offer from a local modeler at Christmas for $ 125.00 but he said in Jan. i have not contacted him too busy taking back therapy. if interested e mail me .i ask for
money order or bank check. i dont have pay pal but go by meca rules.you get the same guarentee as
pay pal. let me know guy's one way or another your interest thanks FRANKIE G

Kits, kits, kits. I started building plastic airfix models from 7 years old. Then migrated to rubber band powered balsa models airplanes whilst still building and modding plastic kits of all types.
Got into real modeling in 1974 by saving up for an engine and ordered a Cox .049, then saved up for a Carl Goldberg Skylane 62 (which I still have, plan to restore it soon) and realised that an .049 will not even get the dust off the fuselage, so saved up for an OS 40FP. Then saved up for the latest and greatest MRC 5 channel AM radio which I still have with linear servos. Finally got its first flight all of 12 seconds in 1978. The rest of the story is for another show. I learned every which way to crash this model and rebuild it over a few years. Great plane it was ..... and will be again. Have a new wing kit for it to be redone with flaps and all.
Then I got a Great Planes Trainer 40 Great plane but a bit too much for me so I got the PT-40. After many excursions with the ground and building board it is still in a ready to fly mode at a moments notice and its a remarkable aircraft at 28 years. Everything up till now has been kits, with the exception of a Breitling Cap 232 which has been gone thru with a fine tooth comb to bring it up to scratch to a kit model.
Where I am located in the caribbean on the island of St. Lucia modeling is not quite to hobby of choice for the average joe. Our little club that I created in 79 was at a 23 member strong at one point and has dwindled down to 4 active members. Most models are kits or scratch built. ARFS are knocking around however I'm the one who normally makes them kit worthy. An ARF does not take to the skies until it gets a through going through to make sure it can stand the stress of a properly built kit.
As a matter of fact one of our members just recently posted a his very first buid of a Dazzler kit. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/kit-...first-kit.html
We always seem to have many projects on going. I am looking forward sometime this year to restore a VK Cherokee that I have had since 1982, its been in bits in a box for the last 20 or so years. I got one new in the box off ebay in 2003, paid top dollar for it too in excess of $200.00, just had to have it. It is such a beautiful kit and flies rock solid I had to have it. When I have finished my Sig Senior (which I started in 2001) hopefully in the next few weeks I will get on those VK's. The Sig is all built fuselage and wing and never completed. Having seen a few builds here and there I got bitten by the SS Bug and I am in the process of tricking it out with ailerons, flaps, onboard glow, lighting and as much stuff I can cram into it and finish it in translucent covering where necessary to show it off. Its a shame when I see SIg Seniors covered in solid colours, you don't see the beauty of the framing.
Our club has a Facebook page that has not been updated in a while however you can have a look there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/199677227602/. I must get the guys to update as well as me in the upcoming days.
I must say that I may or may not be considered hoarder cause I can safely say that I do not know how many planes I have, I start going fuzzy from 22,23,24 um I gave this to Slick or Koolie or Dodo Boy or whoever. I do know that I have 2 or 3 boats and 5 Helis.
Modeling is highly theraputic to me and has helped me thru 2 divorces, and where it really counted was the great loss of 1 Alsatian, 1 Golden Lab and 3 Black Labs over the years. Usually when I do have a day to day problem, I head to the War Room and plan my attack on any model that is within the vicinity have my way with it. Upon clocking out from the confines of the Situation Room and making my return to the real world I normally have a solution to the problem at hand 98% of the time.
After all has been said and done KITS rule.

Hated the arf as they cut dihedral from 6 inches to 3 and added flaps.
