RE: 4*60 wing tips
I'll be interested in the responses to this one. I have to hack out wingtips out of balsa block on my current project. I have my own ideas but have never done it.

RE: 4*60 wing tips
Some pics of my 4* 40, recently completed.
I stuck on an appropriately sized block of balsa then shaped the block in the vertical plane only first - i.e. parallel with the ribs, then rounded off the wing tips from top of rib to bottom until I had the desired shape.
Getting both tips the same is nothing more than doing a little and checking then dong some more and checking. when I thought I had it close I used a digital camera and took snaps of each side then printed out full size and cut then out and compared then.
Not really difficult and it did not take as much time as I expected 60 min and both were done.

you add it a head of the main spar and replace them every once and a while.
