Omni AU & PPG Concept, Fuel proof or just resistant?
To all of you who have used Omni AU and or PPG Concept. I am hoping that some of you kit builders have gone down this road for fiberglass and abs parts.
How fuel proof are we talking about with Omni AU? I sprayed a test piece 7 days ago. I mixed the Omni AU as per instructions, 4:1:1 and it is VERY fuel resistant but I took a rag and rubbed some 25% nitro on it and easily managed to remove the gloss from the paint...
Is the Omni AU nitro fuel proof? or just resistant? (perhaps I did something wrong...)
Is the PPG Concept Clear nitro fuel proof? or just resistant?
Is the PPG Concept Clear stronger in terms of nitro from Omni AU? (I can spray concept over AU if it is, just costs more...)
I’m getting tired of throwing money out the supposed fuel proof window and now that I use the 30% more this is becoming an issue for me.

I don't know about the Omni, but the PPG Concept Clear is fuel proof. I use it on most of my racing planes, and never had an issue with it (using 15% nitro).
