Hi Dave, send Michel Normandin an e-mail at [email protected] He is president of the company and a very busy guy. I'm sure he will answer you promptly.

I'm in the painting and finishing stages of an AMR 42% Super Decathlon. The kit is exceptional. I have really enjoyed building it. Here is a link to the build thread:

The building of the kit is almost completed. Only one wing to complete. the left wing has been build last friday and is now almost finished. Michel should post some pictures of this monster pretty soon. It is gigantic. The kit should be released pretty soon after the building is completed. Lot of fun to come

AMR is in Quebec, the province of significant Canadian aviation manufacturing, so who knows they may already be secretly planning a super size unit powered by a certain 400 cc radial, now all we have to do is get the loot together to acquire the engine, the Sieko 1800 in lbs servos and the most important thing of all Wifey' s permissions for the project!

We have a 40% Waco kit for the 400cc radial engine, you can se us in youtube with the 400cc attach to Ford pick-up , we did a big steel tubing motor mount who fit in the truck hitch

For the kit release; we have to finish the prototype and the instruction manual., at least a month.

If you need specific building pictures let me know, it is so easy to build, with a cd full of pictures, anyone can do it.

I use carpenter glue , a lot .....:-)

I see you have the Monster on the web site with a $895 price. Are you taking orders for the kit? I'm ready to order when you are. When I'm not flying it I'll use it as shade on my patio. Thanks, Jerry.

Looks great.
I am a little concerned about the landing gear.
For such a big plane the gear look small.
We do need more shade in Texas .....

Hello,

The gear is 5/16" 6061-T6 aluminum, 8" inflatable wheels, axels 3/8" , this gear is the same than the 42% Super Decathlon, since two years we fly the Super Decathlon, ( 60 pounds ) with a zdz 210cc.

The gear is very strong, no tendancy to bend in any way.

The new 3 1/2" tailwheel was tested for stress , loads etc.

We will be ready to market the kit as soon the instruction manual is done, in two weeks.

We can laser cut kits right away but only supply 400 pictures on a CD, someone who has build kits before can do it, it is very easy to do.

I did build it in two weeks full time, taken pictures etc, i did the second wing panel in two days.

Soon we will release the 50% Spacewalker kit to

I can vouch for michels advise...I'm building the Giant stick from the pictures he provided with the kit. Easy straight forward build no issues!

Is it a balsa, plywood, type plane or is there some other material being used also?
