Default Pilot figure gone wrong

I was in the hobby shop last week and I thought I might buy a pilot figure for my new project. But the pilot figures cost between 25 and 30 dollars and that seemed way to steep for me. So I ordered one from Tower. Well, the guy looks disgruntled ! He is not happy. So, I jazzed him up a bit with some shading and stuff and now he looks like Scott Peterson ! That can't be good.

It would be in poor taste to include some rope and a concrete block in the cockpit with him....

In the picture on the right, is that a plan for a Harrier (prop-jet model) taped on the wall?
