Default Fuel feeding question

I have an older .60 sized cub which i am installing a Magnum .70 4S in, My question is the fuel inlet on the carb is about 3/4 to 1" above the center of my fuel tank. I cannot raise my tank or lower the engine as the orignal owner set it up with the engine running 90*. what kind of problems will i encounter with the carb inlet being higher than the tank and will i need a pump for this set up? Any idea's???
Thanks..

You are going to pressureize the tank right? you shouldn't have any problems.
that is much better then the tank being to high.

Yes i am pressurizeing the tank, i also have a perry pump but prefer to save it for another project i'm working on. The last time i ran one with the tank low i had idle problems but i dont know if that was the problem or not. I built a set of floats for this plane but had a "hard" landing with my other plane so i quit this one to repair my P51, Now i'm back on the cub. Thanks

Something most people don't realize is that having the carb on the tank centerline is the "ideal" placement - but in reality, most planes won't allow you to do that.

In MOST cases, this does not create a problem.

Thank you Mike!!! The center line tank/carb is in a perfect world. And the only way to know if you are going to have a problem is to fire up that beast and find out. If it doesn't work then the Perry Pump.

You shouldn't have a problem feeding the engine with the tank being lower. Just means that the needle valve setting will tend to be more open then what it was in a prior aircraft. Do use the pressure feed from the muffler and be aware that if you fly the cub upside down, your engine will tend to go rich.
