Default Chris Foss Acrowot - Help and Advice

I've got to the stage in the build where I need to join the wings. Hopefully from the pictures you can see the problem I have. The angle of incidence at both wing tips is parallel to the worktop (which is flat) and is therefore the same at each tip.

When you bring the wings together at the root, the incidence between wing roots is definitely not the same!

What to do? Do I waste all of the time and effort that I've put into these wings and attempt to get another new pair from Chris Foss, or do I cut my losses and attempt to bodge the wings together and accept the concequences?

Does anybody have any ideas as to how I maybe could salvage these wings?

1. Is the wing section symmetrical? If so you may have a twisted wing panel.
2. If the wing section is semi-symmetrical you may have two wings from the same side. i.e. Two right wings or two left wings.
3. Is there washout built into the panels? If so it might be best to not join them with the wings tips parallel to the surface.
Iwould suggest that you contact Chris Foss direct and show him these pictures. I am sure he will be helpful.
Chris. UK.
