Covering done. Just have to do pushrod hook-ups, fuel tank, balance and a little final assembly and she'll be ready to maiden this spring. All -up weight should be around 6 lbs. Will let you guys know how it flies when the time comes. In the meantime, I'm building a Kadet LT-40 with a bolt-on wing and taildragger conversion - another Seamus thread I'll add to in the future!

thanks
John

I noticed your planks have the grain running width wise. Wouldn't you want the grain lengthwise to keep from breaking... or is the bending part of the system? Nice old school design... Always like the cabin sitting on top of the fuse like that

The plans call for the bottom planking to be widthwise. it is supposed to add more strength that way.

Does anyone have a set of plans for the original Bridi Killer Chaos kit. Got the kit, retracts, Vortech spinner and no plans. That is what I get for buying off of eBay. Will gladly pay copying and shipping charges.

Blue Jay still uses the original plans, contact them and find out for sure. If not then I have a friend that just finished one but it was a short kit and he had to buy a set of plans to build it. I can find out from whom for you.
