Default Trainer kit build threads

Anyone planning any trainer build threads in the very near future? I would really love to see some new highly detailed build threads here. They are dwindling down quite a bit lately. Guess people are more into ARFs lately. Too bad, nothing beats a nice kit-build from your own two hands.

Hope to see some soon.

Would also love to see some low-wing build thread as well.

A friend of mine who I have mentored in writing reviews is planning to build a Sig Smith Miniplane this winter. Maybe I can convince him to do a build thread on it since we don't do too much in the way of reviews in the winter here in MinnaCOLDa.

Yup, I think I can do the thread... I am in the middle of a house siding project, so it may be a bit yet, but I'll do a building thread on the Smith Miniplane. Any one interested can thank Minnflyer for putting the bug in my ear.

Besides, all my other planes are still flying- I had only one minor unexpected landing this year, which resulted in a small tear in the covering. Other than the Mini, I have just one other project in mind- I'll be re-covering a Northstar seaplane. Any one interested in a re-covering thread?

When I get my Tiger 60 for Xmas I plan on doing a detailed build thread.   I will be covering with fabric and painting as well.
I agree, ARF's seem to be the trend.  But they are not for me.  Building is as much the hobby to me as flying.
This will be my 3rd kit to build.  The first two I built around 1988.  The last one was around  2002.  I only flew that one a few times and then life got in the way of having a hobby.  But I am retired now and have the time.  The build threads here are way cool.  I will definatly add my 2 cents worth starting around December 25th!!!
