Default Simcoa/ Simcoe kits?

Does anybody remember Simcoe (Simcoa?) kits? I'd never heard of them before one of their kits appeared on fleabay the opther day. The kit is a Fokker D-VII with a 6' span and looks to be a pretty detailed kit. The box, etc. looks like '70s-'80s vintage and the instruction booklet lists Goldendale, WA as the company base. Anybody have any info? Thanks in advance.

I saw that kit. Looks like the type of kit you need to construct each rib out of sticks. That's an insane amount of work.
