Default Century Jet Rotatong Retract problem

I have a set of these retracts which when I land the wheel turns and makes my Corsair nose over. If your familiar with these retracts you know there are two "collars" one at the bottom near the axle and another at the strut end. I've put a set screw in the lower (axle) end and have used red loctite on the collar on the strut end. The collar on the end of the strut will turn upon landing (no mater how soft). I fly from grass which compounds the problem.
Would JB weld keep the upper collar from turning or is there another "fix".

Have you got flat spots filed into the wire for the set screws lock into? Sounds like the round wires are just sliding around on the set screw. Good Luck, Dave
