one thing that eddie noticed when he cut the graphics was that the plans have different fonts for the number 7 they are different from the wings #7 and the fuse #7 looking at the 3 views they show all the 7's with the same font so that is what i did !!!!

Mike according to my 3-views in "The Golden Age of Air Racing" Vol. #1
they show 3 different fonts for the #7, so no matter which one you chose
it was going to be correct.

I have found it hard to part with completed birds, I have sold a few that were framed up and didn't bother me. I did build a .40 size GP Cub for a guy and modified a it to be a scale C/W Cub. I hated handing it over and offered him $100 more then he had in it and he woudn't take it. I maidened the plane for him and put 2 flights on it and it flew great. He had no tail dragger experience and he crashed on his 1st solo take-off. He has been trying to talk me into repairing it for 10yrs now

if not i'll keep it no biggie!!!! i actually like the looks of this one!!! i did get around to weighing it it's right at 18# not sure the saito150 will pull it i still have to add the fuel tank, battery, and switch harness

Even at 21lbs the 150 should pull it for scale flight. Should look good in the air and sound good with the 150 in it. I maidened my Waco last Sunday and flew like a dream. Feels good when you get one completed and in the air.

i'm gonna ponder that idea!! if i read it right the construction article that david andersen wrote said his weighed 17# and seemed a little underpowered with the 150 in flight???

Congrats on a super build Mike, You got to fly it at least once before you decide to
sell it, wished I had as much time and energy that you have had in the last 2 builds,
both turning out excellent. What's next on the agenda, I know you said a little rest,
but it looks like the old "Builditist" has set in on ya.

Again Superb build, got to be really proud of the results. This calls for another:

I know what you mean about the heat 3 weeks ago I suffered a mild heat stroke
along with pneumonia & dehydration, cost me 3 days in the hospital. Went flying today
for the first time since and it was to hot to stay for more than one flight, 97 with heat
index of 108 plus high humidity. Think I'll wait till fall to start flying again.

Good luck on your next project, I know you'll give it that special attention just like you
gave the past 2.
