Hey Saul,   I've got the everything out of the fuse and started making changes to accommodate a servo less retract.  I haven't worked on the servos in the wings, etc.  Unfortunately I haven't worked on it in a while.  Just didn't find the motivation this past winter.  Now I'm fixing crashed planes and helis that I fly frequently.

Any progress on your Long EZ?

No. I've been taking the time to build my cadre of ARF's that have built up over the years. Look what I found though:

Just completed my second abortive flight, need some help before I fix it again, first flight was at full up stick, just to maintain altitude, as soon as I reduced throttle it cam down, fixed, added 2 deg incodence to the canard and applied a gap seal. rechecked C.G. and it is exactly where the plans have it, not the 1/8" ahead as the text recommends, this time it took off on its own and I didnot have enough down to keep it from climbing at full throttle, reduced power and guess what, nosed down and did not have enough elevator to pull out. had contorl throws that matched the plans, also started with .25" more elevator width. open to reasonable suggestions. set up is a G force .46 electric on a 4S 2200mAh Lipo

I'd contact Burt Rutan for guidance.

I bought a 1994 St Croix/ Cressline Long-Ez 62.6 " wing span at a club auction. It has a poor but workable set of plans (legal size sheet copies that have to be taped together) but is missing the instruction booklet. Does anyone have or know where I could get a copy?

I have one. Do you have a fax machine or an email so that I can send you a copy?

Default St. Croix / Cressline 1/5 scale Long-Ez

My wife finally figured out how to add an attachment to this forum and added the attachment of the instruction booklet for the 62.6" wing span Cressline Long-Ez for anyone who needs a copy. The attachment is in my post just before this one.

Saul, I contacted AK-Models about that plane recently. The web site showed 83 available at the time. I received a very prompt response with a product availability list and the 160 was not on it. Further emails indicated that the plane was no longer available and had been out of stock for at least a year. Evidently they didn't update the website in quite a while. Now it appears to be updated and the selection is much reduced. And no Long EZs.

Default In need of Cressline Long EZ #2 sheet plans

I just received a Cressline .46 1/5th scale Long EZ from a friend about half built. Have the #1 plans and instructions booklet but not the #2 plans. Anyone out there willing to copy theirs for me. I would gladly reimburse costs. Thanks

Do you still need the #2 plans (wing layout plan)?
If so send me a private message with where to send it to.
