RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***
What would be the form, fit and function differences i would observe when using a Tower Hobbies 75 vs. and OS 75 AX in this aircraft? I may have an opportunity to pick up a second hand tower engine fairly cheap, and want to make sure i don't waste my money on that when i could wait and find a second hand 75 AX when the time comes...Thanks!

They fit the same, in the upright position, they clear the fuselage fine. Tower has the rear needle valve, AX is on the carb, slanted back, and the engine comes with a flex cable extension that works well. Personally I like the Tower muffler on the AX75. I have no trouble flying my Tower .75 on a Stick, top end seems comparable. Certainly a big price difference for the OS name on this one even used. The tuning ease of the AX comes at a premium.

I got my RCM US1000 prints to day, even had a wood list and a how to book with the prints. Have a foam wing on order. My last 1000 had a ST 3000 in it, think I will go with a 30cc gas in this one, the finish will be glass and paint. The brown truck just drop me a US60 I had on order, I want to put a RCV90 in this one, will have to see if it will fit. So much to do so little time.

What you need is a long cold winter to get these put together! Bravo on the 1000. Always wanted one of those. I have a US60 kit sitting here also. Waiting for July, when it's too hot to fly here.

Hey, Box Car..
Where did you order your wings from? I have a couple of 40 size planes (Not Ultra Sports) that I would like to get wings cut for.
Were there fees fairly reasonable?
Thanks, Craig.

Dear Tower Hobbies Customer,
Thank you for contacting Tower Hobbies.
It may become available on late July. That is the most current information that we have on that product.
We appreciate your time and your business with us.

I'm getting it from a garage sale add here on RCU. It wasn't listed per se, but a guy contacted me because of a forum post and offered me a great price on a Tower 75 and a 75 AX. For the same performance, it was hard for me to even consider paying $160 for the 75 AX when i could get the Tower 75 for half of that. He threw in some extras and made it a great deal for me. I got the kit and the retracts second hand too. For the kit, B&D retracts, engine, and spinner etc. I'm only into it so far for about $200. I'll have a lot more in it when it's in the air, but i'm happy with the bargainsI'vebeen getting :-)

I'm looking for a new one also but you don't see them very often. Glad to see you getting everything. I have had 2 ultra's and have a 60 and a 1000 to build. Very nice airplane!

Ken,
Thanks for the heads up on the Wings, I'll check em out. I have an old Airtronics Jetfire 40, and an old GM Precision Rainbow Runner that both need wings, and I don't really like framing up wings..
Craig.
