Great Planes Trainer 40 kit instruction/builders booklet
I recently came across an older Great Planes Trainer 40 kit (not the ARF) and need the instruction/builders book. I have the large build-over blueprint, but would like a copy of the booklet. Anyone have one ? Thanks...Tom

The manuals are at Great Planes in PDF format. First link is to PT 40. Second link is to PT 40 MKII

I don't think the PT Series is what Tom is asking about. The Great Planes Trainers had symmetrical airfoil wings. Superb design, but sorry, I don't have the manual. Built mine (first RC bird) in '86. A 60 size. It survived in one iteration or another for many years ... and reconstructive surgeries.
You should be able to feel your way through construction. If not marked on the plans, put the CG at 25% of the wing cord behind the leading edge to start. Can move back from there to your liking.
If no one come up with the manual. Shoot us any questions. I know somebody will have good answers.
