Top Flite P51 60 size Gold Edition
Hey Guys
I am building the P51 gold edition kit and would like some more information on installing the Robart 605 with robostruts (653) which I plan to use, on the plan it says to use 31/2 inch wheels with605 robarts but when you check out the Robart website it shows 31/4inch wheels suit these robostruts, is it possible to still fit 31/2 inch wheels to these robostruts if I need to? Or can I still use 31/4 inch wheels if I cannot use 31/2 inch for this 60 size p51?
How far up the wire strut do I cut so I can install the robostruts?
How much do I have to carve out of the wing frame to install the robostruts?
Has anyone attempted this installation before?
Do I have to beef up the area where the retracts will be installed other than whats on the plan?
