I don't plan on adding the retract doors as of right now. Iam going to fly it first before I start adding the scale stuff. Ya never know what'll happen on that first flight.
Can anyone answer this question....How do you think the OS Max .61 will fly it?

rick:
IMHO a 61 2 stroke would be marginal at best for power as the TFGE Corsair builds heavy. The minimum engine would be a 1.20 4 stroke for the extra torque a 4 stroke would provide.
I'm going to build the 'red box' 60 corsair and plan on using a saito 1.50.
Just my $.02

I got this kit and the OS Max .61 came with it. Right now money is tight so my question is HOW WILL the 61 fly the plane? Anyone flying a TF Corsair with the 61 on it? Ican always go bigger when I can afford it.

Tom:
When you mean "builds heavy", what are you meaning. Is that with retracts, flaps, and paint. Or just the basic model itself? Thanks.

The basic model might be ok with a 61..adding retracts, flaps and paint will definitely make it heavier.
Also a corsair in particular needs a lot of ground speed before lifting off or it will stall and be ready with right rudder!

I am going to install the retracts, flaps, and monokote it. Nothing extra for the first few flights anyways. I would really reallyLOVE to put in a Satio 120 FSif I had the money. I have a new OS Max .61 and somecashI could trade for it.
