Hello all,
Any one have any experience with these plans? They say there’s all the patterns to scratch build. I have a set of Ikon west plans, glass cowl and windshield but the plans don’t have all the templates or there to complex for me LOL Thanks Dan http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-Scale-PI...item1e6852eb2d |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Need details of the wing strut /wing attachement pl.
I had a Bud Nosen 1/4 Cub that suffered drastically from a failure of that detail attachement, the wing folded and the plane Kabooom. |

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Thanks roaddog2, I’m just trying to help others out. I don’t clame to be an expert.
Cubcrasher you are now #31. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I’m in the same boat as WacoNut. I have used Latex painting on a couple of my big cubs. Love it, works great for GAS, but clear coat it if you use GLO. |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
This is a continuation of another's suggestion. Over 100 member's time for a Brotherhood T-shirt. I vote cubman design something to get it started.
I'm in for a couple. |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
I could go for that.
Edwin |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
How about Sweatshirts for us Northern guys
|
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
It's gonna be hard enough to get the orders, sizes, and funds together. Let's keep it simple and just do T-shirt's.
On another note, the past few day's I have been working on a way to attatch the cowl without having exposed screw's and such. Finnally got it worked out. And today I'm browsing cubman's website and guess what I found. The exact clip's and pin's systemsimulating the full scale as I came up with.Could have read all his techniques before handand saved some headaches. But where's the fun in that, right. |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Yeah, his website kinda does that to ya.

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Thanks Cub Man,
Glad I could help out, what ever it takes to make this unit successful. Acerc, I would go for one of them there t-shirts. R.L. cub brother # 31 |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
I would go for one large and one small or size 6 (kids size)
|
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
<span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS">what do you use to clear coat over the latex for glo fuel? i'm getting ready to fabric cover and paint my cub. i just found the connector parts for my HVLP gun to connect it to my compressor.</span>

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
<span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS">never mind. just saw the nelson hobby clear. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...n/rolleyes.gif i thought i saw it somewhere.</span>

RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Anyone remember a Monogram Piper Cub from the late 60's to early 70's. Control line model.
|
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
Cub Man, I think I can speak for all here... Thanks for maintaining a growing list of members. :D
... BTW, I'm in for a T-shirt. Let me know when the orders start.[8D] |

Well I can see what I can come up with on a shirt. Anyone know of a place to get them printed?
I see some talk on the interment panel. I can print them out on photo paper at 600 dpi inkjet and they look great. I may start making some panels for sale. |
RE: ***CUB BROTHERHOOD***
If the panel you shown is what you can make. I'll take one. Just let me know how much and where to send the fund's.
As for T-shirts, probably half of the print shops will do tee's. Will probably run from 20 to 30 buck's a piece. |
