Try a Graupner 15*8 three blade. I use a 3 blade on the ultimate and it makes approach and vertical downhill very manageable. Yes, I am a 3 and 4 blade prop fan.

I will look again on ebay and see if I can find it. At $11.00 I will just bid on it to help a Bro out. If i find/get it.. will trade for a coke later in life... like at SIG fly in if I can get there. LOL

I was out this morning doin the same. Botht he LT-40 and 4*120 put on a show. Winds out of the WSW @ 7. Got a chance to practice my opposite direction flying. I haven't lost it:)

I am in Colorado Springs this week and there isn't any flying going on. Mid May and it snowed yesterday!

I lived in Colorado for a few years, the weather definitely does strange things like that!!! You need to come on back home here in Oklahoma where we were dealing with 10-20 mph winds this weekend!!!! Or as we otherwise know them, a normal flying day!!!! :D

OTOH Saturday was perfect flying weather, winds under 10 wsw. Gave me a chance to practice landing from my bad side, clockwise. Of course this direction has trees in the way so have to judge the landing based on that, but after a few attempts I was able to bring them in nicely. Tomorrow though, the day I usually spend after work flying/building, 10-20 MPH winds but out of the west, no south reported which means I might be able to fly.

I'll be back on Saturday! We came out to help my son and his wife pack. We are moving her and the baby home to Oklahoma and he will follow on 5/30. Eric is being medically retired from the Army. The VA is giving him a 90 % disability due to back and shoulder injuries. It's going to be tough for him finding a job with his back he can't pick up anything more than 25 lbs. They will stay with us while they look for work and grandma has stepped up and bit the bullet to do the babysitting.

A friend of mine works for the Postal Service. He says they are big on hiring disabled Vets. It would probably be
worth his wild to check them out.

It can't hurt but his lifting restriction hurts on a lot of jobs.

He says they will accomadate him.

Can I get a number also? I just finished up my Sig Four Star 120 which is powered by a DLE 20RA swinging a Xoar 17X6. It came in at 12 pounds dry. I made a few modifications which consisted of a balsa cowl and moving the pilot back one former. It doesn't float on landing so I am glad I didn't remove any wing bays. Kit went together without any problems whatsoever....

Thanks Dave ! :) I will give some updates as I move along with the Kavalier . I was able to get the canopy cut and fitted last night (What a PITA) and hopefully I will have the elevator finished by the weekend and fitted. I am still new to the hobby and supposed to have training tonight at the local flying field but that will be dependant on the weather. Using my Cloud Ranger for training and it is a nice and easy flying plane with electric power .

Jeff! Sorry 'bout dat - I meant to correct your little issue with this last addition, and forgot completely (a "benefit" of getting older and more senile with every passing day). Just now corrected it in my master listing - it won't show again.
