I used to knife edge my Sr Telemaster. "Reserve power" has its advantages. (It had a CDI FA-150 in the nose swinging a 16 x 8)

June 7th is a week and a half away. Who is up for the Fly In?

I haven't even thought about it, but I never do a clockwise landing except maybe in a deadstick. Doesn't matter coming in from the left or right, always counter clockwise.
I wonder what it is about left turns? But my rolls are always to the right. Now I have some new things to practice.

Sorry guys, the inverted flat spin was do to a catastrophic failure of the 2 meter glider that was attached, a very scary experience, but the Kadet did land safely, probably more do to it's design than my piloting skills.

Absolutely no plan for a repeat performance!

I was just released from the Hospital today. I will be with you guys in spirit and hope lots of pics posted. I was really looking forward to this more than anything in a long time. A place I've always wanted to visit, The Sig family who I've always admired, actually meeting Hazel whom has always been a hero and of course meeting all you guys to shoot the breeze, share in mishaps and celebrate those near misses and greased landings. :-) Lastly picking up, finally after all these years, a real SIG 1/4 scale CUB.

Have been lurking and reading all the great Sig stories . Currently building an LT40 and any building tips would be appreciated . I have read some and plan on this being powered by an OS .46 and converting to a tail dragger .

Use a tail wheel mount with some spring or give to it like the Goldberg tail wheel assembly. You can add a 1/16 light ply as a doubler inside t the rear or the fuse before adding the horizontal stabilizer. But any tail wheel assembly that will absorb those cool tail wheel first landings and you'll be good.
Great flying light loaded plane. The 46 will give PLENTY of power. Use a low pitch prop like a 10- 4 or 5. You will love it.
