If you are a first time subscriber to this thread and want a number, copy the list below, and paste it in your post, then add the next available number starting at post #25. I will try to review these every day and keep this first one up to date. I may miss a day or two, so hopefully doing it like this can keep things in some sort of order. :)

Welcome to all SIG fans.

I'm late to the party, but my history in modeling has been a history of building and flying Sig airplanes, dating back to the late 1960s Here is a semi-chronological list of all of the planes I've built or assembled and flown:
Sig Parasol
Sig Cub
Fairchild 22
Witch Doctor X
Witch Doctor 800
Banshee
Twister
Mr. Mulligan
Monocoupe
Mini-Maxer
Cabinaire
Skyray
Kadet Seniorita
Kadet Senior
Kadet Senior ARF
Kadet LT-40 ARF
Kougar
Four Star 40
Four Star 60
Four Star 64 EP/GP
Kavalier
Kobra
Astro Hog
Hog Bipe
Mid-Star
Somethin' Extra ARF
Riser
Riser 100

I'll be honored to take whatever number is next in the Sig Brotherhood.

The other thing is I will be flying off a grass field. Maybe I should call Sig:)

May I also join the Sig Brotherhood?

All us old-timer control-liners always used the rule that each new blade took off 1" from the length. A normal 2-blade 10" would be a 3-blade 9". That's worked well in C/L for AGES!!

I've been away from the hobby for about 40 years. I'll bet I'm the only guy flying a 1974 Sig Klipper. Box fuselage covered with silkspan, 45" foam wing, painted to look like the one on the box and powered by its original Veco .19. An antique, just like me.

I also have a NIB 1/6th Cub from about 1980 or so.

If the list is up to date, I'm no. 57. Count me in.

Any pix of it by any chance? Would like to see that bird.

Soon. Maybe tonight. Since New Year's Day I have landed it once and krashed it twice. My reflexes are a little slow, but it's a tough little bird.

FlyerInOKC 02-13-2014 02:40 PM

Looks a lot like a Kadet but smaller than a Senorita and foam wings instead of built up. Can't wait to see your bird!

bikerbc 02-13-2014 08:13 PM

Back on page 5 post 103 I asked to join the brotherhood and asked for a number .. I guess that makes me # 58

Geez, I remember the Klipper - great little plane. Looked like a Kadet but was a bit zippier. Would definitely like to see one flying again.

And we're all antiques, in one way or another.

Nah, never happen! This bunch spends all their discretionary cash (and a little more) on airplanes!

jeffie8696 02-18-2014 07:02 PM

I resemble that comment.

Hydro Junkie 02-18-2014 07:15 PM

Does my Sig have to be completed and flyable to join? I'm working on a modified Kadet JR, if that counts:confused:
