It was set up as electric but all I had was a .46 glow so I put that in. The firewall had to be replaced, and I built just a little right and downward thrust into the engine mount. All my other planes are warbirds or sport and I'm not familiar with these types (i.e. Taylorcraft, Robin…). Anyway, I was going to put the CG at the forward spar of the wing but now I’m not so sure. Does anyone have a good guess as to where it would be? Thank you |
If the airplane has a constant chord wing, which it appears this one does, then a good place to start is at 1/3 of the chord. Measure the width of the wing, divide by three, and got back that distance from the leading edge.
