Goldberg Eagle Windshield

I purchased a Goldberg Eagle 63 on Ebay and it has the side windows but no windshield, (same windshield as Eagle 2) anyone have an idea where a guy could get one?

There's a pattern on the second page of the PDF plan from Outerzone

Easy to make with plastic from a large blister pack, a lighter, and a 1/4" diameter steel rod. Heat the rod and then form the plastic around it. I've made a couple for both my Eagle and Eaglet.

So the Eagle 63 was an RCM design and not a Goldberg design?

Thanks a lot guys, that makes my day. I figured I was going to be making a windshield but I didn't know about the pattern and the heated rod is a great idea.

Designed by Carl Goldberg, plans and construction article published in RCM. Don't know what year it was released as a Goldberg kit. Lots of kits were originally published as a construction article in one of the mags.

When I built my Eagle 2 Several years back, I damaged the windshield, so I filled the space with 1/4 inch balsa, shaped it and covered it with gray trim sheet. It has held up well for over 10 years of flying.

Hi, if you don't want tp make your own windshield check with Eddie Taylor at Lazerworks at this address ; Lazer Works - Engraving & Design. He has a vacuum forming machine and he makes a lot of shields for different Airplanes.
Good Luck
