Problem with Eagle 2 horizontal stab
 

I finished building an older Eagle 2 kit and discovered a problem with the horitzontal stab. During assembly, I made sure that everything was aligned properly but now the stab is a little off. The actual surface of the horiz. stab is at 0 degrees in relationship to the wing (as per the plans), but now the left tip (looking from the rear) is 1/8" low and the right tip is 1/8" high. Do you think it will still fly correctly?

You'll probably get loops that look a little "funny" and it may not fly perfectly, but it will probably still fly. I had an LT40 that was so crooked it looked like a banana (due to multiple rebuilds) by the time it was finally... um....retired. Flew kinda funny and looked funny in the air.... but it flew!

1/8 of an inch..you'll probably be OK!

You are going to have to trim it a bunch. But in the end it should fly fine for a trainer. Don't sweat it too much. Just fly it and have fun.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought, but just wanted confirmation. The GP Trainer 60 I built before the Eagle came out perfectly square, so it wasn't from lack of building skill :D The strange this is that I used a T-square to mount the vertical stab and it was initially exactly perpendicular to the horizontal stab. Now the horizontal stab is cocked, but the vertical stab is still perfectly straight. Go figure.
