Question for those who flown the Sig SkyBolt...
I'm in the preliminary planning stages for the construction of this kit, which I got off eBay in mint condition.
I had originally intended to use my trusty old 70 Surpass, but looking at the plans has given me second thoughts. This model was designed around a 60 two-stroke, and while the 70 Surpass is powerful, its not quite THAT powerful. Now I'm leaning toward a Saito 91 or 100. Any thoughts? Whatever engine I end up installing, it WILL be a four-stroke. . |
RE: Question for those who flown the Sig SkyBolt...
hi,
I've got one here with a 91 surpass. With that, I still have to put battery under fuel tank to balance. Power wise it's pretty good with a 13x8 MA. Bill. |

Thanks, Bill.
So, you're saying your model isn't overpowered with the 91? How much does your airplane weigh? . |
